October 15, 2021 – Stage Fright is Born
Stage Fright was formed by three friends who shared a love of classic rock and a mutual struggle with social anxiety. Fueled by a desire to break out of their shells, Blaze Wilde, Raquel Vargas, and Dylan Prescott came together to create music that was bold, vulnerable, and unforgettable. The name Stage Fright became both a nod to their fears and a declaration of their defiance.
January 8th, 2022 – Debut Album: "Silent Ovation"
The band released their debut album, Silent Ovation, a raw and introspective exploration of fear and identity. Its lead single, “Breath that Lingers,” quickly became a fan favorite, thanks to its driving rhythm and haunting lyrics.
December 3rd, 2022 - Zona Music Festival
In 2022, Stage Fright made their festival debut at the Zona Music Festival, marking a major milestone in their journey. The band captivated the audience, proving that their music transcends fear and inspires connection. The performance was a defining moment, solidifying their place in the indie rock scene.
February 6th, 2023 – Sophomore Album: "Heartbreak Boulevard"
Inspired by their newly acquired fanbase, the members of Stage Fright quickly got to work on new music. Their second album, Heartbreak Boulevard, expanded their sound with more experimental instrumentation and layered storytelling. The lead single, “Splinters,” became a rock anthem, climbing the charts and solidifying the band’s place in modern rock.
April 28, 2023 – Austin Psych Fest
Stage Fright captivated audiences at Austin Psych Fest 2023 with a mesmerizing performance that perfectly embodied the festival's ethereal vibe. The band performed tracks from their latest album, Heartbreak Boulevard, weaving raw emotion and atmospheric soundscapes into every note. Their set left the crowd spellbound and solidified their reputation as one of the most compelling acts of the festival.
August 27th, 2023 – Breaking the Silence: The Tour
Stage Fright embarked on their first major headlining tour, Breaking the Silence, spanning 20 cities across North America. Known for their high-energy performances and deeply personal fan interactions, the tour was a sell-out success.
June 23rd, 2024 – Third Album: "Fade to Black"
Their third album, Fade to Black, embraced themes of resilience and reinvention. Critics praised its lead track, “Midnight Echos,” as one of the band’s most powerful and anthemic songs to date.

Blaze began learning the guitar in middle school through a school program that allowed students to choose an instrument. His natural talent and passion for the guitar quickly grew, and he has been playing ever since. As the main guitarist and social media coordinator, Blaze is integral to both the band's musical direction and its online presence.

Raquel’s musical foundation was built during her childhood, singing regularly in her church choir. Growing up in a supportive environment, she developed her vocal skills and confidence. As the lead singer, Raquel's powerful voice and stage presence have captivated audiences across the world. She also manages the band’s merchandise, ensuring fans can take a piece of Stage Fright home with them.

Dylan was introduced to the drums by his grandfather, who inspired his love for music. After receiving his first drum set as a child, Dylan has continued to develop his skills and pursue his passion for percussion. As a secondary instrumentalist and creative director, Dylan brings innovative visual concepts and sound arrangements to the band's performances and music videos.
